Sri Lanka Won The Toss And Chose to Bat First

 DHAKA: Sri Lanka captain Mahela Jayawardene won the toss and elected to bat against Pakistan in the third day-night match of the Asia Cup one-day tournament here at the Shere Bangla National Stadium on Thursday.

Sri Lanka included fast bowler Lasith Malinga in place of Kapugedra while allrounder Hammad Azam
replaced Asad Shafiq in the Pakistan eleven.

Sri Lanka: Mahela Jayawardene (captain), Tillakaratne Dilshan, Kumar Sangakkara, Dinesh Chandimal, Upul Tharanga, Lahiru Thirimanne, Farveez Maharoof, Nuwan Kulasekara, Lasith Malinga, Suranga Lakmal, Seekkuge Prasanna.

Pakistan: Misbah-ul-Haq (captain), Mohammad Hafeez, Nasir Jamshed, Younis Khan, Umar Akmal, Shahid Afridi, Sarfraz Ahmed, Hammad Azam, Saeed Ajmal, Umar Gul, Aizaz Cheema.

Pakistan defeated Bangladesh by 21 runs and India beat Sri Lanka by 50 runs in their opening matches.

Each side will play the other once in the round-robin league, with the top two advancing to the final on March 22.
